Ice or Other Foul Weather

For severe weather cancellations, delays or rescheduling we have set up notification through WFMZ.com and WFMZ, Channel 69 for all meetings and services and WBYN 107.5 FM for Sunday Morning only. If you have e-mail or a cell phone, WFMZ can provide automatic e-mail or text message notifications of "Salem UMC, Zionsville" announcements. On Sundays when there is snow, ice, etc. Sunday morning Sunday School is cancelled and Worship Service will be held at it s regular 10:30 AM time. (Also please remember that severe snow and ice may close the church but the expenses of daily operation continue. Your faithful support of the church's ministries during inclement weather closures is still necessary and sincerely appreciated.)

Food Pantry

Sunday February 6th, - Souper Bowl Sunday - We will be collecting canned & packaged soup, crackers, saltines, etc for the Zionsville Area Food Pantry.

The Food Bank is set up by Salem UMC, Hosensack Grace EC, Vera Cruz EC, Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville UCC, and Upper Milford Mennonite Church. The food bank is located in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church

Anything you an contribute is greatly appreciated donations can be brought to the Church

Valentines Party - February 12th at the church 5pm

We will be having a Valentine Party on February 12 starting at 5PM with a pitch-in meal followed by entertainment and games. A sign-up sheet is on the hallway bulletin board. Please sign-up if you plan to come and indicate wht food item you would bring.

Informal Church Services starting

January 23, 2011

Time: 5:30pm–6:30pm

An informal worship service for those who are unable to worship Sunday mornings. Come as you are, rest, relax and worship God. Starts at 5:30 PM at Salem United Methodist Church.
